Bell Media’s MuchFACT Announces Fund Recipients for June Music Committee

 

– $477,082 awarded to 27 recipients –

 

TORONTO (June 6, 2017) – Bell Media’s MuchFACT (A Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent) announced today the 27 fund recipients from the June 1, 2017 music committee meeting. With 190 applications considered, a total of $477,082 was awarded to Canadian musicians in the following categories: Music Video, Online Music Video/Project, and Digital Tools.


This year, MuchFACT-funded music videos received 29 nominations for THE 2017 IHEARTRADIO MUCH MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS, representing more than $718,250 in investment. Nominated artists includeA Tribe Called Red, Zeds Dead, Coleman Hell, Tasha the Amazon, and PUP.
